When Rick and I were looking for a bigger home we figured a new build would be out of our price range. We also didn't want to deal with all the headache and stress involved with building a new home. So we basically ruled it out. Of course, this thought process was before we drove down Matlyn Drive in Chili and met you and Mike. We knew a family was in our immediate future so finding a nice, safe neighborhood to raise a family was top priority. We also didn't want our neighbors right on top of us like you see at other new construction sites.

The house at 9 Matyln Drive wasn't even done yet and we fell in love with the layout of the 4-bedroom colonial, the size of the lot, the small 12 home culdosac and the extra detail Mike put into the woodwork. We also liked the distance between the houses on either side of us and how the houses where built on each lot. We were even more impressed when Rick and I met with Mike and Angela and suggested some changes to the upstairs master bathroom. The bathroom entrance was rather small and we talked it over and shortly there after the changes were being done and Rick and I were working on securing the mortgage.

Almost three years later we still love the house and we are always outside working on the landscape or enjoying the yard with our 20-month-old son. We enjoy walking around the neighborhood with David and our dog Indy. Since then we have added a three-season room off the kitchen and we hope this spring and summer to work on the landscape in our backyard.
